OGANIC COTTON

Organic cotton is produced and certified to organic agricultural standards. Its produccion sustains soils, ecosystem and people health by using natural processes reather than artificial inputs.

It's important to highlight the organic cotton cultivation does not allow the use of toxic chemicals or GMO (Genetically Modified Organism). Instead of, it combines tradition, innovation and science for the sake of the shared enviroment and to promote quality of life and well-being.

ECOVERO™

he new standard in eco-responsible viscose. Derived from certified renewable wood sources using an eco-responsible production process by meeting high environmental standards, LENZING™ ECOVERO™fibers tailor to a sustainable lifestyle, contributing to a cleaner environment.

TENCEL ® (Lyocell)

TENCEL® is the lyocell fiber from the house of Lenzing. It is of botanic origin, since it is extracted from the raw material wood. Fiber production itself is extremely ecofriendly, due to the closed loop system.

El día que se inventó la fibra TENCEL® ®, se escribió un nuevo capítulo en la historia de las fibras. Los textiles de TENCEL® son más absorbentes que el algodón, más suaves que la seda y más frescos que el lino.On the day that the fiber TENCEL® was invented, a new chapter was written in the history of fibers. Textiles of TENCEL® are more absorbent than cotton, softer than silk and cooler than linen.

SEAQUAL™

SEAQUAL™ is a different kind of filament which is made by recycling the plastic collected at the bottom of the sea. After many months of investment in R&D has been posible to develop a 100% recycled polyester filament from which to obtain sustainable fabrics of the highest quality.

REFIBRA™

The pioneering REFIBRA™ technology involves upcycling a substantial proportion of cotton scraps e.g. from garment production, in addition to wood pulp, where the raw material is transformed to produce new virgin TENCEL™ Lyocell fibers to make fabrics and garments.

Based on the award-winning efficient closed loop production process as standard TENCEL™ Lyocell fiber, REFIBRA™ technology is Lenzing’s first step to contribute to the circular economy in the textile industry.

RECYCLED MATERIALS

COTTON - Cotton is an extremely resource-intense crop in terms of water, pesticides and insecticides. This means that using recycled cotton can lead to significant savings of natural resources and reduce pollution from agriculture.El algodón es un cultivo extremadamente intensivo en recursos en términos de agua, pesticidas e insecticidas. Esto significa que el uso de algodón reciclado puede generar importantes ahorros de recursos naturales y reducir la contaminación de la agricultura.
POLYESTER - Recycled polyester reduces our dependence on petroleum as the raw material for our fabric needs. Diverting PET bottles for this process reduces landfill, and thus reduces soil contamination and air and water pollution and requires less energy than virgin polyester. Garments created from recycled polyester aim to be continuously recycled with no degradation of quality, allowing us to minimize wastage. This means polyester garment manufacture could potentially become a closed loop system.

THE LOOP™

THE LOOP™ is a innovative recycling process that starts from used garments, textile waste or obsolete inventory. The collected items are sorted by color and stripped into smaller particles using mechanical methods. To create the new yarn, The Loop™ merges the shredded fabrics with sustainable materials such as organic cotton, TENCEL® and recycled polyester. The yarn obtained is used to design new fabrics with the highest standards of quality and the same look as non-recycled ones.
